Basel City Race - City Race EuroTour: Sa. 11.06.2022

The Basel City Race - and in parallel the Swiss National event - will start on Saturday afternoon. The competition over the middle distance takes place in the border triangle on Swiss, German and French soil. The flat terrain is a change between old village centre, city parc and town centre, connected through bridges between the three nations. This competition is part of the Euro City Park Tour.

“Certificat médical” required for participants residing in France

Participants residing in France must be bearer of the annual competition licence 2022 from the “Fédération française de course d’orientation (FFCO)”, or present a medical certificate testifying that the competitor brings the required fitness for competitive orienteering. Proof of a competition licence 2022 or (copy of) a medical certificate for competitive orienteering not older than one year must be handed in on the day of the event in order to receive the bib number. For competitors less than 18 years of age on the day of the event a declaration from the parents may be submitted that no circumstances are known that are against the practice of competitive orienteering.
